In another example of mainstream media being more guilty of “fake news” than the non-traditional outlets they like to disparage, dozens of mainstream outlets including NBC, CNN, CBS, and Reuters identified the wrong terror suspect in today’s Ft. Lauderdale shooting.

As has now been reported by IPatriot, 27 year-old Esteban Santiago, now identified as an Islamic terrorist (although media outlets refuse to acknowledge the evidence) shot and killed 5 American citizens in a Ft. Lauderdale airport. Regrettably, either in an attempt to break the story first or, perhaps, to ignore the Islamic link to the true attacker, another Esteban Santiago was identified as the terror suspect.

News outlets ran stories for hours this afternoon with pictures of the now disgraced 29 year old blasted all over the world. Mainstream outlets have refused to print retractions at this time although they are now correctly identifying the right suspect and have removed the inaccurate suspect’s picture.

The wrongly accused Santiago spoke out this evening after being falsely accused, his comments can be found here.
