I am reminded of the opening paragraph to “Treasure Island” as I watch the demoralized Democrats dejectedly dragging their footlockers out of DC. Even a dyed-in-the-wool conservative like myself can empathize… how disheartening, fearful, shocked, bewildered they must be! In a single stroke, an alleged evil, racist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobe has driven a wooden stake through the heart of the Obama Legacy, delivered us from the Clinton crime family, and set fire to the “Bush Dynasty”. And he visited this destruction in the most hideous of all languages, “Great American Flyover” or GAF.
Trump reflected the ideas of the great unwashed, uneducated, unsophisticated, patriotic, moral, constitutionalist, taxpaying, common Deplorables. Trump simultaneously rejected the smug elitism that comprises the lap-dog media, Hollywood, academia, the free stuff snowflake generation, Socialist sympathizers, and entrenched public “service” parasites.
To divide the actual racists from the suspected ones, all one has to do is identify those who USE race as a club to beat down those with whom they disagree. To separate the actual sexists from those accused of it, simply identify those who seek your vote based entirely on gender. To define those who actually exclude others from those who are accused of it, just try to use logic on “The View” and see how long it takes Joy or Woopie to shout you down. To learn who are actually waging a “War on Women”, look to see who excuses and profits from entire countries and religions that enslave women. To see who really cares about children, ask who opposes the unrestricted right to kill them in the name of “women’s health”. To expose the real dividers, listen to those who drive wedges between old and young, rich and poor, black and white, male and female, flyover Americans and bi-coastal elitists. To see who actually defends your rights and liberty and who defile them, simply watch who defends your right to speak and who goes to great lengths to silence those with whom they disagree.
I could go on, but you get the idea. The loudest accusatory voices are raised by the guilty.
No living person has ever seen such a divisive and polarizing America. In the past we have seen riots and racial divisions. But they have historically been issue-centric. Historically, important issues divided us into two camps, whereas Obama has divided Americans by a nearly unlimited number of wedge faux issues perpetrated by various special interest groups who will do and say almost anything to further their cause.
The underlying reason for the intentional splintering of people along ideological lines is to remove our focus from the only important issue of our time. Will America continue to be a constitutional republic or will it become just another collection of disparate peoples dictated to and controlled by the socialist elite. Will your grandchildren enjoy the freedoms your fathers had? Or will they take ranks among the world’s sheep to be herded by corrupt global wolves?
The answer to that rests largely in the minds of the American people and whether they can identify the onslaught of ‘fake news’. Just as racists are the first to cry “Racism”, fake news purveyors are the first to scream FAKE NEWS!
The mainstream media’s avalanche of stories about how Fake News and the Russians drove the stunning upset of Crooked Hillary is, of course, FAKE NEWS. CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and Hollywood have controlled and disseminated fake news for decades. A prime time example of that was the Oprah/Michelle love fest during which Michelle proclaimed that Americans now know what it’s like to live without hope.
Strangely, it’s one of the few things Michelle has ever said that I agree with. After eight years of their feckless, hapless, pointless, hopeless rudderless leadership, we know very well what it’s like to live without hope. I, for one, am elated that it has finally come to a screeching halt. The Deplorables see an outsider who may very well begin the long and arduous process of draining the swamp. We know what it’s like to live without hope. And we are beginning to feel the warmth of a new dawn. The destruction of the FAKE NEWS media and the FAUX Obama legacy is in sight.
The Mainstream media will not go quietly into the night. They will continue to proffer their fake news and attack Trump at every opportunity, real or imagined. They will continue to offer up stories that remind us of Dan Rather’s breathless “investigative” report detailing the Bush (forged) National Guard memo. They will continue to cover up Obama’s blatantly forged birth certificate. They will continue to release absurd stories of how Trump raped a poor 13-year old. The Democrat party’s ‘public relations’ department that is the mainstream media is the loudest voice in the room screaming FAKE NEWS! FAKE NEWS! I’ll leave it with you to determine why that is.
