Generally, the term “censorship,” when applied to American laws, refers to the government’s act of banning or altering media, speech, or performances. This is generally based on the presumption that such materials are, or will be, offensive or dangerous to the public.

According to Wikipedia: Censorship is the suppression of free speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions.[

It occurs in a variety of different media, including speech, books, music, films, and other arts, the press, radio, television, and the Internet for a variety of claimed reasons including national security, to control obscenity, child pornography, and hate speech, to protect children or other vulnerable groups, to promote or restrict political or religious views, and to prevent slander and libel.

I gave credit to Wikipedia for this definition – (the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit) before they claim copyright infringement, and this definition disappears, as well.]

Denying our Freedom of Speech is best countered by groups and individuals speaking out and organizing in defense of the threatened expression. The public must have proof that this is happening.  That is the why I have written this article

Censorship by the government is unconstitutional.  It plainly limits the number and variety of public communications available.  What better way to brainwash society – than to only give one “party line” to believe?   Censorship restricts journalism freedom.  The rights of the viewers and listeners should be paramount – not the rights of the broadcasters or the government.

Personally, I can see a need for keeping some information to myself, but it is against our Federal Laws for the government to infringe on our First Amendment Rights.

If I hadn’t gone back to check on the comments in my original article, I would never have known that access was denied to that particular video. IPatriot doesn’t notify the author, (not sure if they even know) YouTube doesn’t notify the producer (but they had to be told).  The information just goes silently into the night – never to be seen again.  We can’t have that, folks!  The Internet is essential to Free Speech.  (And Obama is fixin’ to allow others outside the US to oversee it’s contents!)

Copyright infringement is defined as the use of other’s works protected by copyright law without permission, infringing certain exclusive rights granted to the copyright holder, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the protected work, or to make derivative works. Disputes are usually resolved through direct negotiation, a notice and take down process, or litigation in civil court

https://youtu.be/rVTXbARGXso   will display a message telling us that the video is no longer available. Go see for yourself!

I will not go silently into the night!
